A Year of Food & Nonsense

FOOD & NONSENSE

Hello!

This is a very special month for me, as October marks a whole year of Food & Nonsense blogs, can you believe it?  And what a year it’s been.  What started as a little hobby is growing, changing and turning into something far bigger than I could have ever imagined.   So I  just want to say thank you to all of you that have popped by, read my thoughts, rants and general musings and contributed to the discussions created on this blog.  I’m grateful to every single last one of you.

In celebration of Food & Nonsenses 1st Year today I am sharing a little recap of the most popular posts  & an update of what’s to come!

First Up….

The Cosmo Blog Awards 2014

On October the 8th the Cosmo Blog Awards Shortlisted bloggers all got together in London for a glitzy awards ceremony. Exciting!  I wasn’t able to get there from Bali, which was a bit disappointing, but I am assured that a fun time was had by all!

The result?

Unfortunately I wasn’t a winner this year – but as I’m still getting over the shock of being up there in the top 10 lifestyle blogs – I can live with that!  Congrats to Fitness on Toast, who won the Lifestyle category and thank you so much to every single person who voted for me and supported me in the competition, I appreciate it so much!! Bring on 2015!!

This Years Most Popular

I’m still experimenting with the content on the blog, and some things have been better received than others! So here’s the top 10 posts of the year – in case you missed them!

  1. 10 Signs You Married into the Military
  2. Behind The Headlines – Aloe Vera for Weight Loss
  3. What Does Healthy Look Like?
  4. 10 Reasons Your Weight Is Not Shifting
  5. A Note on Fattism and Fat Shaming
  6. Is This Good For me?
  7. 5 Things I Didn’t Know About Yoga
  8. What’s The Best Diet?
  9. Juicing For Weight Loss
  10. What I Ate Wednesday – RD Edition

Coming Up Next Year

The next year marks the start of some big changes for me and F&N.  I’m excited for the launch of the F&N book club, travels in Indonesia before we HEAD HOME (eeeek!!) after 3 years of living in paradise, new F&N nutrition services and experimenting in the kitchen! So stay tuned!!

Have you any thoughts on things you would like to see reviewed/discussed on the blog?  What would you most like to see and read about?

Ideas and thoughts welcome – so get in touch!

Hope you all have a great weekend!
