Things have been fairly up & down the last couple of weeks. We have been having a wonderful time with my brother-in-law who is visiting at the moment, but things took a little turn for the worse when we unexpectedly lost our much loved cat Stringy in the early hours of Saturday morning. She died as a result of internal bleeding, most probably caused by poison put down to kill pests such as rats, mice and possibly stray dogs. It’s so sad. Unfortunately it seems she wasn’t the only victim and a few of our neighbours pets have seemingly suffered the same fate.

Luckily we have many hands at work feeding and weaning the kittens who hopefully will thrive despite losing their mum. A couple of them certainly have inherited her cheeky personality!
On top of this I’ve managed to pick up a bit of a sniffle, so I’m going to keep it light this week. Hopefully those exercise endorphins will help with keeping my mood positive!
